Assembly line for Volvo Cars

Redesigned production workflow for Volvo Cars, reducing ergonomic risk by 57% and delivering over 2M SEK in projected savings, achieving ROI in under two years.

Calmer classroom system

Light system that uses color and atmosphere to lower classroom volume and support focus, while integrating acoustic absorption. Concept testing showed a 24% reduction in speaking volume and improved concentration during independent work.

Sexual health among women

A two-part behavioral design concept, a visibility focused artifact and a national public health rollout to normalize women’s sexual education. Structured to reach 1.3 million Swedish students within three years.

Inclusive Public Space Redesign

A people-first urban redesign of Stigbergstorget, enhancing safety and accessibility through intuitive crosswalk alignment, separated bike and pedestrian flows, and tactile and audible wayfinding.

A little about me

I’m Paulina (Palle), a Swedish product designer with an MSc in Industrial Design Engineering, based in New York City. I grew up around engineers, artists, and musicians, which made curiosity feel natural and problem-solving feel fun.

Where I come from

My background in engineering taught me to think in systems and constraints, while my interest in psychology and human behaviour pulled me toward UX. Product design became the place where structure, empathy, and creativity could live together.

How I like to work

I thrive in collaborative, fast-moving teams where ideas are shared openly. I care deeply about clarity, accessibility, and building things that feel thoughtful, and meaningful to the people using them. And I'm always having fun while doing it!
