Hi, I’m Paulina (Palle), a Swedish designer with an MSc in Industrial Design Engineering, based in Brooklyn,NY with my wife and a very cute puppy.

My background
What shaped me
I grew up in a family of musicians, engineers, teachers, and artists — so basically, I was born this way.
I’ve always been curious about how things work, which led me to earn a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, with a profile track in user insight and experience.
My Background
Why Product Design?
My grandpa was a ship design engineer, and his passion for creativity, math, and problem-solving had a huge influence on me. We spent hours working through math problems and taking things apart, driven by curiosity about how they worked.
I was first drawn to civil engineering because of my love for bridges. To me, they’re the most beautiful form of engineering. At the same time, I was deeply fascinated by psychology, behaviour, and the human mind.
Product design became the perfect intersection of those worlds. It lets me understand people while using technical, creative, and analytical thinking to solve complex problems. I still want to build bridges, just now between humans and technology, creating meaningful experiences.
Today
I wanna know everything
On the side, I’m always exploring creative projects and have taken extra classes in art, psychology, and even archaeology (yes, the dinosaur kind).
Right now, I’m studying sustainable behaviour design and keeping up with the latest tools in AI — because I want to understand everything. Everything!
In the future
I want to keep growing
In the future, I see myself working at an innovative company that’s not afraid to push boundaries. I want to keep growing, lead a creative team, and take charge of projects that explore new ways of thinking and designing. I love collaborating, guiding others, and connecting design with real research and measurable results.
